3 ferrets/males, they cannot be separated as they are a family group, they come with any and all accessories i have for them You wish, they have tons of toys, outfits, treats...a playpen, 4 litter boxes or more. I also have the awesome ferret nation cage, BUT i will be selling it if i can dissassemble it in enough time... EVEN IF YOU CAN ONLY TAKE JUST THE FERRETS THEMSELVES THAT WOULD BE GREAT! IM ASKING AN ADOPTION FEE ONLY TO ENSURE SOMEONE IS SERIOUS ABOUT HELPING THEM AND NOT RESELLING THEM OR WHO KNOWS WHAT ELSE My husband has become abusive and is forcing me out of our apt, and out of his life entirely along with these poor little angels. I dont even have a place to call home for myself at the moment and HE WILL NOT care for them in my absence, so THEY NEED A LOVING CARING FOREVER HOME that i cant give them anymore as much as it breaks my heart they deserve so much better, I wish I could take them with me but they shouldnt have to suffer through multiple moves and who knows what else untill I find myself a place to call home. PLEASE CALL OR TEXT 267 815 7867 THANKS!!!! DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS POST AS I NO LONGER HAVE INTERNET ACCESS IN THE APT.

i would call the cops and get the abusive husband put OUT of the house. (not that she can read this due to no internet) frig that, i would be throwing his crap out on the lawn before he could even say "get out" .... i guess it's a good thing i have 2 cops living on each side of me.

I'd can his ass too. At least she's getting away from him though.
I hope the best for these fuzzies. I live about an hour from her, but can't take them in myself. I know she can't read this, but I think she'd be best off taking them to a responsible ferret shelter at this point. Maybe they can even house them until she gets back on her feet...

I agree, she could be back up on her feet in a month or so and then she will be wanting her fuzzies back. a kind shelter would understand her situation and most likely help her out.

Has anyone thought about txting her this idea?
Also, I think a husband would be insane to try and throw you out of your place Fizz. I could just see you breaking in and a bat and putting him in his place right quick.
And I 2nd the calling the cops thing. Mike EVER tried something like that I'd slash his jeep tires, destroy the motor and then call the cops from my parents house...

We are trying to work it out for Saturday. Since funds are tight we will put together some fuel $$ for her. It's about a 200 mile round trip but she says her car will make it. Thanks to everyone and her babies should be here at FN's by Sat. Great work everyone...

Been a slight delay. She is sick and not able to drive up due to an allergic reaction to something in her apartment. I offered to pick up but I think she would like to see where they are going and she has concerns about someone being there and running into her X. We are hoping for next Sunday which is her next day off. We did discuss holding them for her but, she said she has no idea when and if she will work things out. She said she feels much better knowing they will be placed in a caring, forever home.

That's a shame, but if she doesn't want them back, she doesn't. I'm sure you'll find a great home for them!

Just got off the phone with Becky and she is having car trouble. She says that her soon to be Ex agreed to drive her, the fuzzies and the cage here tomorrow afternoon. We still have another 5 fuzzies set to come in this week and hopefully a new Ferret Nation cage will arrive by Tuesday. We also might have one being donated from the Giving Tree so that leaves two more cages to get, to cover the ferret room. We hope to get one other for the recovery room we built, in the near future. We do not do adoptions over the Christmas Holiday unless it is someone we know or someone that has adopted from us before. Too many issues in the past with folks lying and using them as a gift and then they wind up coming back. It's too hard on the ferrets. So we will have a full house of fuzzies for Christmas and it should be a real romp once the wrapping paper starts piling up. Please keep your fingers crossed that this happens tomorrow... Kieth

It was a very sad day for Becky as she arrived at Father Natures around 1pm. In tow were three beautiful 1 year old boys that just knew something was wrong. All three clung to Becky for dear life wondering what was next. After a few checks for the obvious, we let them all try a taste of Father Natures Duk Soup and we were soon fast friends. The little boy named Bob will be an obvious challenge as he is the odd fuzzy out and a real Mommas boy. Fred and Bear were together from the start so after an oral ADV test and distemper shot I let them all investigate for a while in the upstairs area. They are all still at it save Bob. He has decided to take refuge in my hoodie and take a nap. I think all will be OK once the separation anxiety passes in about a week or two. Many thanks to Bill and whoever else sent the text messages to Becky. Keith and Evelyn

I'm so glad that there is a happy (albeit bittersweet for Becky) ending. They will have many fuzzy friends to play with until they are adopted!

it wasnt that i didnt want them back i have been screwed over so badly by my ex financially that i dont know now with the car and everything else when i will be able to be in a place that i could have my fuzzies, and i didnt think it was fair to ask for foster care if i couldnt give a straightfoward timeline of when exactly id be able 2 take them back. theres just way too many unknowns on my end to even know what the future holds at this point for me. so to consider letting them sit in foster for an unknown amount of time just didnt seem fair to the fuzzies or to the foster parents especially if they got attached. as we all know ferrets sometimes arent on this planet as long as they should be..so if they've got limited time...why not give them a good one if u can. so i thought even if it took years for me to recover myself...why should they be denied the chance at possibly something better? why should they have to wait on me? THATS why i chose to put them up with father nature for adoption it wasnt easy and father nature can vouch for the fact that i cried my eyes out and how i broke down with him on the phone knowing the tough descision of adoption vs. foster.

I'm sure if you wanted you will still get updates and pics of how your babies are doing so you can be reassured they have an awesome home and are loved!

I'm happy to hear that this story had a somewhat happy ending...maybe not now but in the long run. I know it must have been extremely hard - I know I would be devastated if I had to give up my babies - but just know that they are in very good hands

Update. Fred and Bear are settling in and doing just fine. Bill stopped by and it appeared that it was love at first sight for him and Bob. We knew it was a match made in heaven. Bob has already become best buddies with his other fuzzies and he sent some pix of them cuddled together. We do not do adoptions around Christmas unless it is CLOSE friends. Just to many things can go wrong so they will enjoy the holidays here. All the fuzzies have their own stockings on the mantle and quite a few secret Santas have or will be sending little surprises for them to open Christmas morning.

Oh I almost forgot. Bill will be traveling Christmas to New Years so we get to have Bob, Gizmo and Sweetie here to celebrate with us. Just need to make up their stockings too. Keith
