Last night sucked.... I just dragged myself out of bed... slept for an hour, woke up, slept for an hour, woke up... resorted to breaking out the rum and reading harry potter.. those didnt work... Sat up stairing at LD's pictures up on my wall near the bed... I think I finally got to sleep about 730am when mike was leaving for work..... My head is screaming in pain right now from all the crying and stressing out..
Angie or Matt, have you guys talked to keith at all? Im pretty damn sure hes not doing better, but are they at least getting any calmer?

Yes...I spoke with him before, and he made it crystal clear that they WILL continue as soon as it is possible to do so. He is still quite shaken and upset beyond description. Things are getting sorted behind the scenes, which I have been working on since yesterday, and will continue to work on. What I must focus on for my own sanity, is the future. I am dreaming of the day when I step foot into the door, and I see a happy Evelyn & a smiling Keith once again doing what they do so well. Rose |

Guys...I have been at this since 10 yesterday, and stopped at 2am for 4 hours of sleep. I got my boy on the bus, and have gotten right back to it...but, I REALLY DO need a shower. But, I'll be back in an hour...PM me with any Q's in the interim.

Take a 2hr shower, you deserve it for all the work youve been doing in the last 24hrs...
And Im happy to hear hes still so driven to keep going with the shelter.. When that time comes I'll be sure to start sending all sorts of things down to them ferret wise

This is so very very sad. I learned of the fire on the FML I get daily.
I cannot imagine loosing 25 ferrets all at once, my prayer for those babies is that they passed from smoke inhalation and NOT from the flames. This makes me want to gather all 15 of mine in my arms and sit and rock them and cry for those little angels lost.
Fly free wee-ones, you will be with your shelter mom and dad again one day. I pray you made a safe journey to the Bridge and you received a warm welcome upon your arrival.

This makes me want to gather all 15 of mine in my arms and sit and rock them and cry for those little angels lost. After reading all of this... I feel the exact same way with my two... and other animals in the house. And is also kicking me in gear to finally call in about my renter's insurance. .... You never know when these things are going to happen. |

Laughter through tears is always welcome. I'd like to put a Febreeze up his butt every now & again though...
I keep saying, and cannot say it enough...all of you have brought tears to my ears (and I am a tough old Sicilian broad) for the show of community, unity and beauty each one of you has brought to the table today.
