Hubby thinks she is adorable and we are hoping to bring her home soon. Connie has been so nice and helpful. When speaking with her you can tell she has a great love for her fur babies and a strong passion for rescuing those in need.

I have been looking at the photos of everyone's FN set ups on TLH to see how much bedding I can fit inside. Besides... my hubby does not have to pick anything out for my Christmas gift so that should make him happy.

that is excellent news! She is adorable and I'm really happy things worked out for all parties involved.
As for allergies, I am extremely allergic to cats, some worse than others but it is NOT a good situation and not one that I could live with. I am also allergic to a lessor extent to our ferrets and my families dogs (again varying degrees). I have to keep our house at a level of cleanliness similar to hospital in order to keep the reactions down to a minimum. I am glad it's not to the point of cats but there was a point in the beginning with Kaya and Nola (prePocky) that I thought we might have to give them to our neighbors. My mom gave us an air purifier which really seemed to help a lot and I have to make sure at the very least I sweep the floors often to keep the hair levels down.

That has to be really hard to live with extreme allergies. I would be in big time trouble if I had to keep my house as clean as a hospital. Now I feel a little guilty that I have dishes piled in the kitchen sink...

My pediatrician actually said that growing up around animals is a great way to build up your child's immune system. I wish that were the case for me. I've had pets since the age of three and I have the worst immune system ever. I catch every single cold and flu going around. Someone sneezes around me and I'm sick. I'm also allergic to many things. but luckily not ferrets! / end hijack I wish I wasn't way up here in Northern Ontario because I'd be adopting that ferret in a heartbeat! She's beautiful

Danielle, I'm glad you are not allergic to ferrets. I'ts sad that you get sick whenever someone has a cold or other type of virus. That must make things really hard for you. I am lucky and don't get sick often but my hubby seems to feel bad every few weeks.
The little silver girl is a cutie. I love her beautiful eyes and facial experssions. We are planning on naming her Sterling and we will be very excited when we get to bring her home.

I am glad that she will have friends to play with in her new forever home. It is hard to wait when you are introducing them. I want everyone to be a big happy family, but they need time to get used to each other. Lol. Why can't they just fall in love with each other at first sight like I did.

Aww, I haven't had much time to visit lately with another sick fuzzy (he is doing ok now), but it was so nice to read about Sterling and her new home. I love hearing success stories! I know our ferret shelter director gets nervous when babies come in because those are the ones that everyone wants. She tries to make sure that the babies go to experienced people, so they can get a good home from the start. Enjoy your new baby and please post many photos and stories about her.

Thanks so much. There are a few photos of her in the "Sleeping Angels" post in the brag section. I need to get more pictures of her playing but she is such a quick little girl that most of the action shots end up blurry.
