What the hecks up with that? ok so ill post here maybe someone can help!!! my now 7 soon to be 8 year old wants a ferret!! hes not your normal child he is very mature and responsible for his age and i deffinantly would not be putting full responsibilities on him!! im a stay at home mom so whomever we adopt will be much loved, very happy and tons of play time!! looking for one that is good with dogs and cats, or could possibly be good with them!! we are finally in a home that i know were going to be for a long time so now we can fullfill is wish. i am looking to spend no more than 50$ for rehomming, and would prefer that it/them come with there belongings, or at least the cage for transitioning purposes. like i said before, i tried about every ad on CL and no responses!!! if you can help great!!! if not that ok too!! thanks guys!! oh and we live in orlando, fl.

Are you willing to travel to Miami??? That is the regular adoption fee in the shelter here... about a cage for him I'm sure we can find someone willing to donate one....Pm me if you're interested.

Are you still looking for a ferret? Someone contacted me regarding 3 ferrets that her roommate left behind when they moved, but I only want one. She lives in Jacksonville, but will be traveling to Orlando in about 2 weeks. If you're still looking, let me know

Post a wanted ad in the pet section of craigslist. Contact people with outrageous rehoming fees and try to work out an affordable price. This will broaden your responses. I had a wanted ad on facebook and craigslist last year, and someone wrote to me and gave me Ava. I think that people are looking for other people who'll honestly put in time and effort for their animals, as well as not looking to post themselves. It can't hurt to try I suppose. One thing though, don't post that you are looking for a ferret at a certain price. Just describe what their living situation will be and say that you are looking for one. Don't mention money anywhere in it. Good luck!
