Update on Ferret Waystation in Texas

Yes, we are still around! I know it's been ages since I've posted. The shelter as well as my personal life have been very busy. I changed jobs recently, and while I love it, I've been working late hours to learn the routine, computer programs, etc.

The shelter has been busy as well. For a while we actually only had a few ferrets, but recently we've had several older, sick ferrets come in, mostly due to their owners not being able to afford vet care (Like I can, LOL) I also have one older guy who is very healthy that I was ferret sitting for someone for an extended period while she was preparing to have her first child. She had her baby in December, but now has decided she is too busy for the ferret and has decided not to come and get him.

Anyway, I hope everyone is doing well, and I apologize for not being around much. Things are slowing down a bit at work, so I should be able to pop in more often.

glad to hear your place was slow for a while... sad to hear people dropping of their fuzzies for stoooopid reasons like "dont have time for it" or "cant take care of" ... but its good that there is a place they can come to where they can get love and attention.
