Keith, I have been away from the boards for awhile. It's good to see that the house is started! I can't imagine the mixed feelings you must have seeing it go up. The happiness/ excitement of moving forward mixed with sadness for the losses of the past. Little Dude will be the Guardian Angel Ferret of the new FN's rescue. He will always live on in every ferret you help and every smile you have when you think of him. He's hanging out at the Bridge, waiting to take up his GAF duties when you open the doors again.

Well, we have been busy as can be. Sorry it's so long since posting. Evelyn went to see her Mom in WV and I had to hold down the fort. We are trying to get our numbers reasonable so we can have a friend come and stay to care for the fuzzies. It's been 8 years since we had any kind of a vacation and I think it's time. Nothing fancy, just a few days away. Once we recharge our batteries we will start a fresh string dealing with the week to week operations here. It has been nothing but surrenders since opening in May. The calls have just started to come in for adoptions and appointments are being set to get some babes into forever loving homes. We have a few adrenals that we will be fund raising for at Stop N Shop the end of Sept. It is a great venue and hard to get a date there. We did loose our Jasmine last week to a massive inoperable tumor. She was a female version of the Dude without the paralysis. We will miss her very much. If you read this Bill, we look forward to your visit. To everyone that has stood beside us, thank you. Back to saving one until, there are none. Keith and Evelyn
