dallas.craigslist.org/pet/375047161.html I saw this today. However, I find very strange. Because I KNOW for a fact I saw the brown ferret up for sale back in June. But at that time "he" was a "she" and a lone ferret. But it's the exact same picture and ferret, because I remember looking at that ad many times, because the person kept lowering the price because, just like this ad, they are trying to make back the money they spent of the poor little guys. Well, now there are two ferrets. Just makes me sad. I need to stay away from CL.

Response from the first ad:
"Thank you for your response 250 considering all you are getting is not bad
at all , and to be quite honest this is my 1st posting , they do come with
certificate of health and vet records , if you pay close attention to my
posting I have an OBO , if I am offered less it is fine , as long as I am
getting a vet reference . If I was letting the ferrets go alone each I wold

as well cuase folks out there are sick like to see a good snake fight so
lets face it at the consideration of an adoption fee plus all supplies
they are less likley to become a snake feeding fighting side show . Also I
am very far from Balch Springs , and "rescued adoptions " in the
controlled envoirment or not any less expensive considering you will have
to purchase supplies . I am not about handing over an innocent creature
for nothing , so many folks want something for nothing and disregard it as

I quickly replied with:
I find it odd that you have pictures that match ferrets from other craigslist ads. Not only the brown ferret, but also the silver ferret. The exact picture is on a July 10 ad, and it lists the ferret as a female. So why are you using other people's pictures? And the tiny picture you have isn't even them. You'll be reported. Thanks again.

Apparently I hit a soft spot, because she quickly emailed back with "once again do not email me you were warned , I am now emailing you for
harrasmnt to aol . have a great day"
Oh my. lol I just laugh. Poor ferrets if she does have them. And if you don't have pictures of them then don't steal other pictures.

lol yes, she did, and apparently made a post that I was a "happy flagger." I kept getting these emails. lol I finally had to ask one of them why in the world would they think I flagged them. I asked both of them if they had ferret ads, if not it wasn't me. And even if it was me, I would've emailed first before ever flagging. One told me that there was an ad posted saying that I was a horrible flagger. LOL Oh my. Then the girl whom I made mad, emailed me with my whole name. Well, hell .. that's not hard to figure out. All she had to do was google my aol email, and heck I have another AOL Sn that IS my name! ha. Guess she thought it would "scare" me.  Really, because all the pictures still show up on my end. All this because I told her to try taking her "ferrets" to a shelter in Blach prings or one of their other 4 new locations, because there was no way anyone would pay $300. Then she thought I wanted them, and for free. Nope, I don't want them either, and I don't want them for free. I just want them, if they are real, to be safe and happy. |

I remember that little sable ferret. It was an ad from weatherford. I emailed that person several times about her, but I never received a response back. I actually read that ad today and thought that little ferret looked familiar. Wow..some people are just sad. Good for you for calling her on it!

And this one just wants to make money. I emailed asking about only the three ferrets. She replied back to me that they MUST go with their cage. Ok, they might need a hammock they've slept on, so new surroundings aren't so stressful, but HAVING to have the cage?! Please.
