I have two ferrets, (Doyle and Tink) I got Tink from a friend of mine who was sent to Iraq, and later got Doyle to keep her company. They're very much attached to one-another. Doyle is 2 years old, to be honest; Im not certain how old Tink is.
My husband breaks out in rashes any time they climb on him, and they ALWAYS climb on him..(lol) I've been telling him for a year that I will try to find them adequate homes..but am so in love with them I've been able to put it off, and at times talk him out of it. (he loves them too)
We've tried everything, He's been to the Doctor to get allergy medication and no matter what he ends up with the red splotches/hives/rash thing. I guess Im ready to try to find them a home but refuse to use an outlet like craigs list or what have you. I want to know that those interested in adopting these are actual ferret lovers. Im not so concerned about fee's; we dont need the money, and the knowledge that Doyle and Tink will be loved, get plenty of play time and care from someone educated is good enough for me. The get along w/ and love cats, children and just about anyone who will let them war dance and play with cat toys. I have cages etc; and whatever anyone would need. I just need to know that these two will be happy, otherwise the husband is just going to have to suck it up. Oh, of course they're litter trained and love people. Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated. I dont want to take them to a shelter, I'd rather they went right to a loving home.
