Not an emergency to upset everyone after the ordeal with the DE kit, but there are two kits available in the Philly area for free. Thought a shelter might pick them up, or someone looking for a new friend... Here's their story:

I'll try this again since so many of my emails got caught in my spam folder and i wasnt able to reply to people in time. I have 2 ferrets that I need to get rid of, for free. I want them to go together. I have a male that is 2 and a female that is a little over a year. I also have a play pen and a carrier that youre more than welcome to have. I made the cage myself, so trust me, its not something you want. If youve never had a ferret before please research them a little before replying, i dont want to give them away just so someone else will give them away 3 weeks later. I live in Chester Springs but can meet you Wednesdays and Fridays at a reasonable location. Serious inquires only. Thank you!
I got a little more info on them:
hi Laura! Thanks for the reply. Well, to start off with their medical history... the girl, Chloe, I got at Petco in King of Prussia, she has never had any medical issues. my other one on the hand, Jack, I found in a shed last summer. He was dehydrated, skin and bones, and was eating the dead ferret next to him, some cruel person had abandonded him. I took him to the vet, he had ear mites, fleas, the whole 9 yards. I got all of that taken care of and have papers for both of them. Jack is HUGE, big difference from when i first got him lol! He puts on a lot of weight in the winter and probably weighs about 7 pounds now, but that sheds once it gets warmer. He gives kisses and will let you pick him up, he also enjoys to be chased around and played with for hours. Chloe was the runt, shes not too keen on being held, but neither of them have ever bitten, shell just squirm a lot. She also loves to play and be chased and play fetch. They get along great with other animals and other ferrets as well, my neighbor had 2 and we would let them run around the porch together and play. They both really are great pets and it breaks my heart that i have to get rid of them, but im going back to college so i cant take them and my friends all their own things going on so they dont want them. I hope that information was enough, if theres anything else youd like to know please feel free to email me back or call me at
Original listing is on Reading CL.
