No, it's "Weatherford Dinner & Movie" or something like that. There's a theatre chain up here called "The Movie Tavern" that does the same thing, but they only show new movies and during football season, they show all the Cowboys games on the 70 footer. Oh, so the copied the Alamo

I don't know why there is only one. When I first started watching back in September, there was 3-4 of them in there. Then around October/November only one started appearing. And to my knowledge (I mean, I don't watch 24/7 lol) thats how its been since.

Wow, 3 or 4 would have been fun to watch. Wonder were they went? Are they introducing them back to the wild? Is there gonna be kits? Do we get to see them? Is this their nest? Where is every ferret, and what does it look like outside of the nest? Who lives close to the zoo, someone needs to go there and ask questions, take some 8x10 glossy photos, with a paragraph on the back of each one, explaining what the heck is going on. Find out if the cam is a scam. Any volunteers?

Find out if the cam is a scam. Any volunteers? Well, according to the info, they are part of the breeding plan to try and bring back black-footed ferrets into the wild. They had 24 kits born last year apparently around september. Maybe the one we're watching is male, and the ones I saw before were the females (and the male got it on with all of them?) and they were removed to give birth? I mean, I could be estimating wrong and they might've been moved in september, cause I started following it early on in the month. You can sponsor some BF ferrets to help out too.

I think it would be a blast to find some Black Footed ferrets out in the wild! Just to sit and watch them. It's so cool that someone is making sure that may be someday we might be able to do that. I know that the Black Footed ferrets in CO are doing well...yeah!
Today's the first day I've been able to watch the cam in the morning and she is out of the nest. I wonder if their out more in the spring/summer? I'm just going to have to go to the Smithsonian zoo someday and find out.

Wow...STILL out of the nest! It must be a gorgeous day at the Smithsonian Zoo. Or maybe it's just to much fun outside to be in today.

She's back!! Pretty cool.... you could see her running around outside before she came in the nest. Now she's trying to get all comfortable, fluffing up her bedding, turning around in circles, too cute!

I was just in there and she was facing the camera, and her belly is completely naked!! Like she has no hair at all, it actually looks shaved, i wonder why. Did anyone else see this?

She's grooming right now...and there she went. She groomed, had a big old stretch or 5, scratched a little, then went out. Sounds like a couple little carpet sharks I know... Cool to see the exact same behavior... Now she's back again. That was short, must have been a potty break. Okay, I give up being commentator. She's gone again...

Wow, I saw that too, yesterday. At first I was like.... nah, I couldn't have seen that but yep, I think so too. Yesterday morning she was out of the nest for like 3-4 hours. I was beginning to think she was never coming back. Maybe she was getting a physical/ultra sound/artificial insemination? Is that how you spell that? Sure would be nice to have some communication with her care taker...it's all such a mystery! That's probably why I keep going back. I just gotta know what's going to happen next.

Yes, yesterday she was gone for many hours, i thought that was weird. I am so curious about her belly, tho. I did not see any scars or incisions, so i just dont know. I was looking on the website for "contact us" and did not see anyway to ask questions. I have the website saved in my favorites so i can pop in and check on her. I wish so bad that i could hold her for just a few minutes, her fur looks so soft.

I wonder why the Giant Panda Cam has updated information? If you go, there's up dated information on the cam page. The last entry was May 5th. I'd like to know about the ferrets shaved tummy, is she prgnant, does she have a name? They could share that information if someone would update her page. Is someone not doing their job or what?

I just looked at the cam of her and she looks like she was shivering like she is cold. And if that were our fuzzies they would be going crazy. The area looks so small. I guess I am used Kelley's babies roaming free and sleeping sprawled out and twisted together. One day I will get a pic of them sleeping that way and post it. Looks to me like she is preggers, every now and then you can see her belly bump up, and she is very restless.
