Me too ! He's as big as his Mum ! They named him Peanut-but we used to call him "Boob NOW!" Because he was always pestering Georgia for some milk. LOL I have this uncontrollable urge to pet them with my mouse !

"Boob NOW" ...that is too funny! He is so not a Peanut. Just doesn't fit. He looks so like his Mom. The little freckles on his face are so cute!

Yesterday I got such a kick out of him - he was lying with his head out the doorway while mom was sleeping. Today was even funnier - he kept trying to get mom up! He nudged her and kept bumping his head into her. Finally he went outside by himself - then came back in and did a few hops around her. Then back outside then inside to try to get mom up again. Then he pooped inside, nudged mom and then went back outside. Poor Georgia has her hands full with him!

In case you haven't seen it. Here's the lastest update on Georgia and Peanut: The ferrets have a large enclosure outside of the nest box. It is filled with soil that they can dig in. They spend a lot of time excavating their enclosures. Their toys range from plastic tubes, golf balls, larger plastic balls, mirrors, boxes, and large plastic bags. The ferrets on the cam will most likely be separated the first week of October, which is when a young male would go his separate way in the wild. Peanut is extremely genetically valuable and most likely will go to the largest ferret facility in Colorado, which is managed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, where he will have a better selection of females for pairings in the spring. WOO HOO! He's coming to Colorado....now, I just gotta figure out how to go and see him!
