Here are some faces that need our walking sponsorships!!! Claudia's bill at Chadwell is very very high. As always there have been a high number of dumped ferrets and almost everyone that Claudia has taken in recently needs medical attention. I am attaching a number of pictures of some of the ferrets that really need our help to raise money for their care. Please consider walking with us and getting as many sponsors as you can. If you cant walk you can still sponsor one of us walking with a donation. Baby Girl - Dumped at an SPCA in DE. She is and older girl with a disability. Her left front leg is shorter and she has 6 toes on this foot. This doesnt stop her though as she she gets around rather well. She has adrenal disease and is on melatonin implants. (THIS BOY HAS A SPECIAL PLACE IN MY HEART!!! - Angie) Timone - Came in with Baby Girl and gave me quite a scare at first. His kidney values were very high and I didn't think he was going to make it. After force feedings, subq fluids and medicine, he is doing quite well. He also is on melatonin implants. Duffy - Was left in an apt. He was almost completely bald and needed surgery soon after coming into the rescue. He had tumors around his rear end and needed a melatonin implant. His haircoat has returned and so far, the tumors have not! He is quite fiesty for an old man. Richie Rich - A DMK ferret from the hundreds rescues from a horrendous breeder in Ohio. He is SOOOOO comical, he makes me laugh whenever I see him. He has been neutered and is currently on pred for insulinoma. Rocky - Is one of a pair that were placed and returned 1 year later. He is doing well on pred for insulinoma. He is on Lupron injections and melatonin implants for adrenal disease. George - Rescued from being used as bait in pit bull fights. He's an active old guy that currently is on pred for insulinoma. Legolis - A baby that came in through animal control. He hasn't been quite right since he came in a couple weeks ago. The wheezing has stopped, but he acts like an old man, not a baby. His heart sounds good and looks ok on xray, but he LOST 200 grams, and there's something in/or wrong with his intestines. He had an exploratory Friday and it doesnt look good. Dr Gold took biopsies but there was nothing he could do. Hes now on pred and antibiotics. There is something special about him and I need him to be ok. THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR ALL YOUR HELP!!! =

Everyone, please consider sponsoring us for the walk. Even the smallest amount will add up and help the rescue. There have been some really bad health issues recently and the vet bill is really high now. The fuzz at the shelter need ALL of your help!!!!! ANYTHING you can send will help.
