Hello all!!!! I am working on putting together an online raffle for Claudia - Oxford Ferret Rescue. She has taken in sooooo many sweet sweet fur kids in need of medical attention lately. Her vet bills are soaring!
We had the opportunity to ferret sit for some of these precious souls recently. Talk about tear your heart out! Little Baby Girl is a precious 6 year old with one leg that is short and 6 toes on that foot. Talk about energy!!!! She gets around great and doesn't let it stop her from doing anything she wants. She is just so happy to be alive. Then there is Timone. My heart just broke for this boy and I didn't even see him when he was really sick! Baby Girl and Timone came in to Claudia via SPCA in DE. His Kidney values were way way off and he was adrenal underweight and grinding his teeth. With sub-q, vet attention, medicines and a WHOLE lot of round the clock care Timone is eating on his own and acting like a fuzzy. I didn't see Timone and Baby Girl when they first came to Claudia's, but I can imagine. Claudia said she really wasn't sure that Timone would make it and make it he has!!! He is just starting to put on a little weight and keep up with his cage mate Baby Girl.
Their vet expenses are only the begining of what Claudia has faced the last few months.
I would like to help her anyway I can. Hopefully organizing this raffle will help with some the expenses already on the books as well as those upcoming mel. implants and lupron injections needed by the shelter kids! I hope to have the raffle up and running in October.
I will be getting out personal requests for donations this week. In addition, if anyone would like to donate it would be very much appreciated. Oxford is 501c3.
