Well, as many people have gone through this... It is very hard to let go, and to have to leave your pet behind. I am in a situation where I have to go back to my country, Colombia, this is something out of my hands, and they cannot travel with me, I'vw tried everything, and even with a lot of permits and paying a lot of money, they could probably get into the country..... they are not educated about ferrets there. Even If I could take them, there is no food, no litter (good for them) and most important no vets educated to treat a ferret, and that is what worries me the most, since I cannot travel back and forth with them... I need to rehome them ASAP, and I though of coming here first instead of going to craigslist... I do NOT want any money for them, or their things.... they will come with everything, but I do want them to go together... They are 3 males!!! Sable, DEW, Champagne... They come with their Ferret Nation, toys, bedding, rice box.. treats, EVERYTHING!!!! I feel bad asking an adoption fee for them, and the only thing I want is someone who is willing to give them love, pleaseee, I dont want someone that only wants to reply because of the ferret nation.... I,ve spent A lottt of money on them, and it is fair for them to get a good home. I am in Miami, FL and dont have a truck or van to travel with them, but can work something out. Anyone who is interested please let me know. Karolyn karolynrico@hotmail.com

Good luck with your quest to find a loving family for your ferrets. I am sorry to hear that you will be leaving the country. I do hope that all things work out for you.
You ahve been a very active and supportive member here, so interested adoptee should know they are getting well cared for ferrets.
If you end of having to advertise somewhere else, do not mention the cage is FN until after you are interviewing a perspective family. Just a suggestion.

I'm sorry to hear that, I hope you can find an amazing home. The Broward (?) Shelter in Florida can maybe help you find the right family as well.. maybe they can steer a great family in your direction.

I'm sorry you have to give up your babies.
I was also going to suggest you try a rescue - even if they can't take in your boys they may be able to list them on their web site and help you find the right home.
GL - hope they find a loving, safe home.

I couldn't imagine... if I was in a position to help I would. All I can do is send positive thoughts your way and hope you find someone who can give your babies a loving home.
