I have sent the info. for the Oxford fuzzies to Chris Mewton 4 diff. times now, at his request. We have been in contact approx. 8 times, and 2 of those have been on the phone. Last conversation he told me we were next and that he had received everything fine and that he was able to resize the pics ok. I received an email from him 2 days after that and he was asking for the pics to go with the stories. That was over a week ago. We have had several people contact asking about Oxford's ferrets and the tree. We have decided to post them this was and if they ever make the tree we will contact Chris to have them listed as taken. If you would like to choose any of the babies listed below contact Claudia at barnyardtravellers@hotmail.com

1. Kahlua: came into the rescue with 4 others who were at an SPCA. She is a sweet lady who is very happy at her foster home. She loves other ferrets and is happy to be sharing her space with her buddy Little Bear. She is approx. 7 years old. She loves soft fleece things to sleep in. She is beginning to show signs of adrenal disease and could use melatonin implants. As always, we can use gift certificates to Dr. Fosters and Smith, Ferret.com, Home Depot (pellets) and True Value (pellets).

2. Missy: came in recently because her family had an other baby and the mom suddenly became allergic to her. She is a petite 7 year old that can't hear or see. She has some sort of iris degeneration. I took her into work right away and she has insulinoma, elevated kidney and white blood count values. She is responding well to medicine, fluids and loves A/D. She gets around surprising well as I don't believe she was out of her cage much with her previous owner. She doesn't know what a littler box is (she sleeps in it), so she could use pee pee pads, soft bedding, A/D and she loves round barrels to sleep in. As always, we can use gift certificates to Dr. Fosters and Smith, Ferret.com, Home Depot (pellets) and True Value (pellets).
img.photobucket.com/albums/v112/dbickling/2008%20giving%20tree%20fuzzies/Missy.jpg
3. Pebbles: came with 2 others because the son was no longer caring for the ferrets. When the mom said that one was 17 years old, I knew that they didn't know much about the ferrets. The 3 were actually oldsters and Pebbles has adrenal disease and insulinoma. She is a feisty old lady and could use a melatonin implant and a cuddly bed to sleep in. She also like to have A/D as pick-me-up snack. As always, we can use gift certificates to Dr. Fosters and Smith, Ferret.com, Home Depot (pellets) and True Value (pellets).

4. Toby: came to live with his foster family 2 1/2 years ago when he was 3. He is now 5 1/2.
In Feb. Toby had adrenal and insulinoma surgery. He is still on a very low dose of pred
and receives melatonin implants every 4 months. Last month he got an horrible eye infection.
Dr Gold tried to save his eye but Toby was in terrible pain for over 1 week. Finally the
decision was made to remove his eye. In this recent picture his eye is gone and the drain tube is
in place. He had such a horrible infection that the top of his head was
filled with pus. But Toby is on the mend and doing great. Toby could use a gift certificate for
melatonin implants or Pet Health Pharmacy. He loves soft blankets and sleep
sacks, nbones and bandit treats. Toby is such a sweet loving little boy. As always, we can use gift certificates to Dr. Fosters and Smith, Ferret.com, Home Depot (pellets) and True Value (pellets).
img.photobucket.com/albums/v112/dbickling/2008%20giving%20tree%20fuzzies/Toby.jpg
5. Timone: was left at the spca with Baby Girl. He had a rough start here with kidney issues, anemia, infection topped with adrenal disease. With lots of supportive care and TLC he is now doing well. He has a melatonin implant and is need of another. He and Baby Girl LOVE their A/D and wake up out of a deep sleep when they smell it. He would love a round bed and soft baby blankets and of course, A/D. As always, we can use gift certificates to Dr. Fosters and Smith, Ferret.com, Home Depot (pellets) and True Value (pellets).

6. Sissie: Hi There! I am a six year old dark eyed white Lady. My previous owner
of six years did not want me anymore. I am currently living with foster
parents. I really love my new buddies and curling up in a warm and
snuggly bed. I am adrenal and in need of a melatonin implant. My
previous owner used to let me outside and thought I was going bald
because I must have rubbed against the some firewood. I am supplemented
3 times a day with A/D and chicken. I am finally being loved. As always, we can use gift certificates to Dr. Fosters and Smith, Ferret.com, Home Depot (pellets) and True Value (pellets).
img.photobucket.com/albums/v112/dbickling/2008%20giving%20tree%20fuzzies/Sissie.jpg
7. Monkey Man: is a 6 1/2 year old sable boy whose family left him ( at 6 years of age) at the humane society because they had a baby. He is such a sweet boy but really crashed when he realized he was abandoned. With lots of TLC and supportive care, he came around and is such a happy boy. He had adrenal disease and insulinoma - so he's on Melatonin implants and pred. He likes to really hide himself under nice, soft blankets and would love some foamy fries. As always, we can use gift certificates to Dr. Fosters and Smith, Ferret.com, Home Depot (pellets) and True Value (pellets).
img.photobucket.com/albums/v112/dbickling/2008%20giving%20tree%20fuzzies/MonkeyMan.jpg
8. Doo Dah: is a very special sable boy that was a stray turned into animal control. He was flea infested and had ear mites. I think he slept for a week after bringing him home! His skin was so red and I was hoping the hair loss was from fleas and scratching. But he's adrenal and needs an implant now. As always, we can use gift certificates to Dr. Fosters and Smith, Ferret.com, Home Depot (pellets) and True Value (pellets).
img.photobucket.com/albums/v112/dbickling/2008%20giving%20tree%20fuzzies/DooDah.jpg
9. Baby Girl: was dumped at the spca with her friend, Timone. Baby Girl walked funny and I was amazed to see that her left leg is shorter than her right and she has 6 toes on that foot! She gets around well, all things considered. She has a melatonin implant for adrenal disease and is getting in a nice haircoat. She likes soft blankets and round beds to sleep in. As always, we can use gift certificates to Dr. Fosters and Smith, Ferret.com, Home Depot (pellets) and True Value (pellets).
img.photobucket.com/albums/v112/dbickling/2008%20giving%20tree%20fuzzies/BabyGirl.jpg
10.Belle: is an incredible 6? year old DEW girl with adrenal disease. She was rescued by a family several years ago. When the son left for college, I got Belle! She is a pistol and talks ALL the time. She is still pretty much naked and hasn't responded to her Melatonin implant. She doesn't like others, so nice warm baby blankets to keep her warm are a necessity. She could also use another implant. She will only eat 8 in 1 Ultimate Crunchy Advanced Nutrition. Belle says thank you!!! As always, we can use gift certificates to Dr. Fosters and Smith, Ferret.com, Home Depot (pellets) and True Value (pellets).
img.photobucket.com/albums/v112/dbickling/2008%20giving%20tree%20fuzzies/Belle.jpg
11. Bartman: is a 4 year old champagne boy who owner was a client where I work. His owner was no longer able to care for Bart or his 7 year old sister, Rain. They were left at the clinic (in a hurry) for me with a very sad note. I lost Rain shortly after this, but luckily Bartman fit easily into one of my old groups. He has insulinoma and is on prednisone for this. He eats Superior Choice and Zupreem from Fosters and Smith, so a gift cert. would be greatly appreciated. As always, we can use gift certificates to Dr. Fosters and Smith, Ferret.com, Home Depot (pellets) and True Value (pellets).
img.photobucket.com/albums/v112/dbickling/2008%20giving%20tree%20fuzzies/Bartman.jpg
12. Duffy Doodle: is a big chocolate boy, now that his hair is growing back. He was left in an apartment with his buddy that didn't make it. Duffy had a mass that we were hoping was an abscess. However, it was a huge tumor near his rear end that had to be removed. So far the mass has not returned and he is a happy boy with his old buddies. He is on Melatonin implants for adrenal disease and is doing well. As always, we can use gift certificates to Dr. Fosters and Smith, Ferret.com, Home Depot (pellets) and True Value (pellets).
img.photobucket.com/albums/v112/dbickling/2008%20giving%20tree%20fuzzies/DuffyDoodle.jpg
13. Daisy: is a 6 year old female that is adrenal. She and her cagemate had not been out of their cage for quite some time. The son had moved out and due to illness, the mother was unable to care for them. Daisy has no idea that she is 6 and has made many new friends. She can use Melatonin implants, tubes to run thru and any toys that are safe to play with. Big, soft baby blankets would also be great! As always, we can use gift certificates to Dr. Fosters and Smith, Ferret.com, Home Depot (pellets) and True Value (pellets).
img.photobucket.com/albums/v112/dbickling/2008%20giving%20tree%20fuzzies/Daisy.jpg
14. Mr. Big: was surrendered from a client where I work. He developed a rare type of bladder stones. Because of his liver values he had to be on special meds for a short while. He is doing well now. He loves n-bones, a/d, Totally Ferret Dooker's Delights, and cuddle cups. He's not much of a player, but he's a big snuggler and his old cuddle cup is starting to get ragged. I'm sure he'd love a new one. As always, we can use gift certificates to Dr. Fosters and Smith, Ferret.com, Home Depot (pellets) and True Value (pellets).
img.photobucket.com/albums/v112/dbickling/2008%20giving%20tree%20fuzzies/MrBig.jpg
15. Snickers: came into the rescue in May with his "brother" Milano. They were both about 4-5 years old. and as far as we know, their owners just didn't want them anymore. We put them with two girls, and they got along great. Milano had some seriously health issues, that may have been triggered by the stress of being surrendered and put into a new home. We lost him this fall. Snickers has bonded with his new family and seems to be doing ok. He is adrenal, so melatonin implants will be a must for the rest of his life, but he remains playful and happy. He loves crochet eggs, that he stuffs between his back legs, and walks round and round making them rattle. He also loves to sleep in the middle of fleece blankets. He is a real sweetie. As always, we can use gift certificates to Dr. Fosters and Smith, Ferret.com, Home Depot (pellets), and True Value (pellets).
