Keith & Evelyn are devestated right now. But they WILL check in eventually. We need to remind them that yes, we lost 25 today, but they SAVED over 600 since they started about 3 years ago. I know there are quite a few from and/or now in the Hammock, that adopted from Father Nature's. I'll start... PLEASE add to it. Mom and Pop Nature, We both wound up in your home... and you did what you do... you loved us, cared for us, and then found us a Happy Home. For this we are eternally greatful!!! We are SOOO sorry for the pain you are feeling right now, and hope you are OK. We're sure you're gonna get back to saving MORE fuzzies... ASAP. We love you, Brutus & Sinbad (& Iz - even though she's not a FN's)

Dear Father & Mother Nature, I wanted to thank You for our boys! Kirbee who taught us that fuzzies could be more than fun & rewarding -- they could cuddle! Kirbee was the most amazing little man & totally the center of everything in his quiet way. Of course Monty too! Monty the fabulous chubber who stalked the cat (Murphy just didn't know what to make of that!). They were a joy & you will forever be the ones who opened our eyes to the right way to care for them. You also saved Luci even though we did not adopt her from you. You were the one who diagnosed her digestive issues & she hasn't had an attack since. We are so grateful that she was not subjected to the organ biopsies the vet was recommending! She has moments now when she is playful & funny, instead of just plain mean. You have saved so many, & made such a difference in the lives of even more than that!!!!! Thank You for all that you do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

here is Peanut, she is how we came upon Father Natures and first met Keith and Evelyn. and here is Mr. Fizzle, this picture was taken with my cell phone the day Keith picked him up from the shelter and brought him home. i was sitting with Mr. Fizz on my lap in Keith and Evelyn's living room. a few months later i brought him home. if it wasnt for Father Nature's.... i am afraid fizzle would not have survived. now he is totally, 100% ferret. and just like Fizzle, along came Charger... and he is now with Rose (Angiesong) safe and sound. there will always be a fuzzy to save, even when things look so grim, we "charge" on... just like we tell our fuzzies to do.

Dear Momma & Poppa,
Our mom Rose just is not too good with posting pictures...she tries, but she's not a good techy-geek, like our dad, Graham. If he were here, there would be no problems, and you'd see some pictures...Hmmmffff !
So many of us came to you and we were sick, but you made us better. Now, we are strong & healthy, and we love to play.
Some of us were afraid that people would be mean to us, so we would bite them, but you sent us to someone who loved us no matter what we did, and she even thought it was kinda funny when we bit her ! After a while, we sorta liked her and learned that she would never hurt us.
Some of us are old ferrets, but when we came to you, we felt young again & got a little hop in our step. Now we play Bingo !
Some of us are handicapped, but it doesn't matter, cause Mommy Rose carries us around if our legs don't work so good, and she "tries" to do sign language to us that don't hear-( but we make like we don't see her ! hehhehh).
ALL of us are special and unique in our own way, and many people didn't want us because of that. But YOU did not care. You took us ALL home, and loved us enough to find someone who would love us forever.
We are ALL your kids. YOU saved us, and YOU helped give us a good life.
We Love You Always & Will Always be Grateful,
Nena, Bea, Gamera, Flo, Bunny Girl, Stinky Pete, Jacky & Willis, Link & Avery, Jude & Zelda, and Theresa & Sarah.
And, we shall never forget, my dashing William & my beloved, Ellis

C'mon guys... I know there are more of you out there.
Pics are great but not necessary... As Rose did, words work just as well. Keith & Evelyn will (sooner or later) read this thread, and will be happily reminded of some of the fuzzies that they have saved.
Thanks, Matt

Dear Mother and Father Nature, Thank you so much for saving me as you did with so many many countless others!!!! Without you I would of not had such a wonderful happy life. I have been moved around a few times before I finally found my forever home here in PA with my new brother Mooku. He was a bully to me at first but now we constantly are snuggling and playing and having a great time. I am a healthy happy boy now and you both made that possible. We are all very sad about what happened and Mom was crying a lot, but we still managed to get her to laugh and smile cause us fuzzies are good at that. Mooku and I are sending you lots of warm kisses and mom sends her love also. Thank you always -- Gandalf.

Thanks so much, we all know how hard it is to get good pictures of our fuzzies! Yes, the bedding was from Angie, actually I saw your posting months ago and I liked the Pawprint fabric so well, I ordered a set from Angie! My guys love it. And the Little Potty is a water bowl. Has a quart reservior in the "tank". I got it at Urban Outfitters in NYC a few years back. It's called a "little john". You can find really interesting things on the clearance table. I think i paid 50 cents for it!!

Mom and Pop Nature, Although I was adopted out once before, when I came back to the rescue you instantly knew that I was the perfect ferret for Lorri and her family. You called my potential momma and she came to the rescue to meet me. As soon as the doorbell rang, MN and I went to greet my potential owners. Boy I was charming....I stood there next to MN's feet looking all handsome. My new momma picked me right up and kissed me all over. I knew I was in!!! My new momma had Bandit (Bandita) with her to see if we would get along. Of course I passed that test too because we had a lot of toys at the rescue and Bandit played and played with all my stuff; and I let her. So...off I went. I looked back though and I saw tears in MN's eyes but she knew that I would be loved and cared for. I came to my new home and at first I was a little shy, but upon arrival everyone fell in love with me; even Spunky and he has seniority. I picked my spot in the cage; I chose a "comfy" hammock and to this very day, all of my brothers and my sister pile on top of me...And trust me....Bear is a little on the heavy side. But don't tell him I said so; I don't want to give him a complex. As you know, I'm pretty laid back and I let the other ferrets do their thing, but when play time comes, they wake me up and boy do I dook and dance and that puts a big smile on my momma's face. I love my new home so thank you very much for taking such good care of me. I'm trying to cheer my momma up though because she has been very sad lately. Bear was licking her tears the other night and momma can't stop crying. She keeps picking us up and loving us even more. I act all cool about it, but I really love the kisses. Momma said that I will see you on Sunday at Petco and I can't wait. I really miss the both of you. Love, Mango
Mom and Pop Nature, I wasn't adopted from the rescue but the two of you welcomed me with open arms. You have amazing toys and I really love that tube. Momma said that you are going to order two of them for us; I can't wait. I love that cat tower that momma got from you; I use it the most. I really love it when Mango chases me up to the top. We all chase our cat Hunter and lately he has been jumping on the top of the tower to get away from us, but we can still get him. I had so much fun at the Pet Expo and I can't wait to do it again. I really loved it when you carried me around in the ball and people put those green paper things in by me. Thanks again for all the love you give to me; you are amazing people. Love, Bandita
Mom and Pop Nature, I wasn't adopted from the rescue but the two of you welcomed me into your home and into your hearts. You have great toys and the last time I was there, me, Bandita, and Bear curled up in the bed in that "holey" thing behind the cage in your living room. I think momma said it's a fireplace hole or something; I don't know. I met Yogi and he piled on top of us but then he started to bite our ears and my brother Bear is a screamer so my momma picked up Yogi and she loved him up and gave him lots of kisses. I had a great time at the Pet Expo and all the people were fighting over me...they all wanted to hold me and I remember when FN kept hugging me and kissing me. Momma says I will see you at Petco on Sunday; I can't wait. Momma said that I lost some of my baby weight and my head has evened out with the rest of my body so no one calls me "Bobble Head" anymore. I am so sad about your home and the fuzzies and I am especially said about Nancy. I had so much fun playing with her and I remember protecting her. She was a trooper because in spite of having only one eye, she pushed through and didn't let it get in her way. I am so sad that she and Sid will not be coming to live with us. I will miss her so much. Hugs and kisses to the both of you. Love, Gizzy
Mom and Pop Nature, It's me...the baby of the family. I came to momma at only 9 weeks old and since I really didn't belong at anyone...you welcomed me in and started my paperwork as part of a FN ferret. You opened your home and your hearts and made me feel like I belonged. I was a "big hit" at the Pet Expo because I'm the baby. Do you remember the last time I was at your home? I do. Some lady came to pick up a fuzzy. I didn't really understand it but momma said that the fuzzie just had some surgery and I watched MN's gentle hands feeding him that yummy duck soup. Anyway, the lady put her pet carrier down and I crawled right in and snuggled up but no one saw me. MN put the sick fuzzie in the carrier but he didn't want me in there so I screamed and momma heard me. Good thing though...because you all laughed about it and the lady said that she would have kept me because I'm so cute.
I know that my momma has been very sad and I have been licking her tears. I am very sad about what happened and for your loss. Momma said that we will see you at Petco on Sunday and I can't wait. Momma and Karen said something like they are gong to "pimp" us out on Sunday; whatever that means. She said that we will melt peoples hearts so maybe they will put some of those green paper things in the jug to help rebuild the rescue. You may not recognize me though because I put on a little "holiday weight" but I look good. Hugs and kisses to the both of you. Love, Baby Bear
Mom and Pop Nature, We never met but I was going to visit you this week when momma picked up Nancy and Sid. But unfortunately she was too late. I am so sorry for your loss but everyone says that you do such good work so you have to rebuild the rescue and help all my ferret family and friends. So many more fuzzies out there need your help. I'm the oldest ferret here and I'm from the streets. My sister Karen and her friends found me in a park about 4 1/2 yrs ago. I was so skinny, very sick, and very, very hungry. My momma didn't even know how to take care of me but she bought books and educated herself just like you guys did and to this day, if momma doesn't know what to do, she says, "I'll call FN; he'll know what to do." I know that you know a lot about fuzzies so you need to continue and rebuild the rescue. Momma said that a lot of people are trying to help so I will keep praying. I know that momma talked to you a lot about me and I really appreciate all the help you give her. I have so many things to thank you for...thanks for Mango, we are best buds because we are the oldest in the bunch. Thank you for taking care of my brothers Gizzy and Bear, and my sister Bandita, and my cat sister Kitty. Thank you for opening your hearts and your home to us. And thanks so much for that yummy duck soup receipt. I love...love...love it!!! I don't like that store bought stuff and I woundn't even take a little lick, but now Karen uses that delicious receipt that you gave us and momma followed your advice by keeping cubes in the freezer. Now she always has it available for us whenever we want it and I really love it. I tend to drop in weight but momma gives me some soup...and boom!!!...instant weight gain. Thanks for being such wonderful people. xoxoxo Love, Spunky
Mom and Pop Nature, Thanks for opening your home and hearts to Kitty may she R.I.P. Momma said that you were at the vet's office when he told her that Kitty didn't have much time left. You comforted my momma and Kitty was fortunate enough to know you and visited with you in your home. You gave her so much love in her final days and for that; we are truly grateful. Kitty and Sparky will greet all the fuzzies at the bridge and they will guide them and protect them forever. We are so sad for your loss. You are amazing people. Love from the fuzzies, Spunky, Mango, Bandita, Gizzy, and Bear and Love, from Hunter (the cat) and Brandy ( the dog) xoxoxox forever friends....

Dear momma and poppa nature, I know that my humans call you Kieth and Evelyn but i will always feel better with mother and father nature. somehow those mundane human names are just not grand enough for you it just does not even begin to scratch the surface of all the wonderful things that you do for EVERY fuzzbutt you take in, no one was ever treated any different while we were with you, well except for yhe really sick dudes we were jealous but it was ok we understood. the bottome line is that we all felt loved and that was different for us and yes we loved. My daddy told me about the other kids that we have lost and i can tell you this they were happy feeling all the love that any fuzzbutts could, we know that they were well taken care of and that they passed from this world onto the rainbow bridge happy and content. confident in the fact that they were safe and secure in your care. i cant think of any better way to pass onto the next world then being with you guys till the end, my new daddy takes good care of me too but that is all because of you and your awesome judge of character, and believe me he is a character. i have been thinking about why these things happen and my little brain hurts i just cant figure it out. all i know is that there are things that we are not supposed to understand, like why you do all that you do. what keeps you going everyday and night putting fuzzy quality of life first, sometimes, we know, even before your own. all we do know is that someday we will all be together on the other side of the rainbow bridge. i am concerned about all those that try to cross the bridge after you guys cause with all the people waiting foro you i fear that the bridge may not be able everyone. but that will be ok im sure that you will fix that too. i remember hearing the phone ring at 11 oclock when my daddy called to try to adopt me and you said you couldnt speak on my behalf until the next day.... i wish you would have given me the phone i was looking right at you i would have given him a piece of my mind for you. i remember the day i was adopted there was all that racket out back, you remember when that maniac you hired wasw tearing the garage apart. i think he was my daddys dad... god i hope its not genetic. when i got home i saw the other two guys i kind of rememered them Albi and Rembrant. we get along great and we all couldnt be happier... we even got a ferret nation cage on some special day i think that you humans call it christmas.... some holiday about a baby or something like that all i know is that there was a huge tree in the living room to climb in and lots and lots of paper to roll around in i think i like it. for ferts like me our lives are better now because of you... then my dad said you have saved like 600 of us. holy cow. i think my dad wants another or two but right now he has his hands full with us we jsut wanted to say thanks to you and tell you that it was great to see you and smell you sunday... see you thought that you were smelling us..hehehehe...psyche.... all the love there is Rocket,Albi, and Rembrant
