Yesterday, a guy e-mailed me, asking if I would board for 4 months. I cannot do it, as I have enough to handle with my own crew. But told him I would try to guide him in the right direction...
I wrote back, asking for a few things:
1. The ferret must have a clean bill of health & proof of vaccines within the last 30 days 2. That he must sign a NOTARIZED boarding contract, which states: 3. That he must set aside at least $2500 at his vet's for emergencies 4. That he must provide a travel itinerary (to make sure he's actually coming back) 5. He must provide funds in advance for daily care.
He wrote back, stating that he is willing to do all of this.
Is there anyone who would be willing to board?

I have a ferret sitting contract that everyone must sign, and the ferret must be current on their vaccinations. I don't ask that funds be left at their vet, but it does state I have the right to seek medical care if an emergency arises, and they agree to pay for it. I also have a clause that states if the ferret is not picked up within 7 days of the agreed upon date, the ferret is considered abandoned and will be placed for adoption.

Thanks ...I will contact him tomorrow and find the location. I thought was maybe looking for place to dump the little guy. But he seems serious...
PM me if you are interested, and I will put you in contact.
Thanks, I'd do it myself-but I am just too full right now.
Thank you !
