Oxford ferret rescue will be holding their 7th annual Family Fun Day on April 25th. It is a VERY fun event with auction, raffle, photo contest, fun questions, prizes, cake walks, and more!!!! Even if you can't attend you can join in the fun!!!! Please help us support the rescue, and come have a day filled with fun. We are at the Cecil County Fairgrounds in Fair Hill, Md. If you are not able to attend the event, please consider buying raffle tickets, or bidding on some auction items. The rescue needs us all the help to make this event a success! The outstanding vet bill is big and there are several surgeries coming up. Including my foster baby Pumpkin. Claudia saved him when him and his sister, Flower (RIP) came in with their collars embedded in their necks after they grew and the collars were never checked. Without Claudia's intervention this kids would have never made it to know the real meaning of family and love. This is just one of the amazing stories from Oxford Ferret Rescue. Link to pictures of all Auction and Raffle items (more will be added right up to the day of the event!!!!) There are also instructions for purcasing tickets! www.creationsbyangie.com/3.htmlAngie

I am probably going to go since the grounds are only about 40 minutes from me... I have been wanting to go to a ferret event for a long time and i think i might have the chance finally. I cant wait to meet everyone!!!! Will there be adoptions there? I am looking to do some ferret math and add one more addition to my 2 little girls who get along with EVERYONE!

Sound wonderful Tiffany. There will not be fuzzies there for adoption, as the building does not allow animals. Claudia can, however, bring some pics and stories of who she has available at the shelter, and you two can go from there. Would that be ok for ya?

OK will do. I do now that the website is supposed to be moved to a new server, and last week she told me she was not getting any adoption application. She was contacting the people who host the site for her. I will let her know, but maybe call her too. They could do the app. over the phone too. See you soon!

Hi everyone, It's just a few days until our big fundraiser. I would love to see new faces attending! If that's not possible, please check out Angies link with both the raffle and auction items. www.creationsbyangie.com/3.html Also, it's not to late if you want to enter a photo in the photo contest (it would need to be emailed or dropped off in person). This is out biggest event of the year and it's a fun day with a D.J., cake walks, good food and friends. Claudia

From what I hear attendance was down this year. However those that went had a GREAT time! I had a youth group advisor training and knew I would not be able to attend. That being said I was sure to get in my bids and raffle $!!! I was delivered soem wonderful items by Claudia on Sunday!!!!! I heard that the winner of the photo contest for wildlife was a beautiful little darling deer and the ferret winner was just as cute! I didn't hear who's cat or dog won.

You are right Angie...attendance was lower than last year, but it did not stop us all from having a wonderful time. I had several people who could not be there, contact me to do their raffles and bidding for them. I am very grateful for them, as well as everyone who came out to support the rescue. Even if you are to far to make these events, there usually is still a way you can support them. We all need to remember that most of the rescues are busting at the seams with ferrets, and they all need our support to continue what they do. The fuzzies everywhere need us all to help. Just wanted to say a special thank you to all who attended, supported, or donated to make Oxford's fundraiser successful!!!!!!!!! You are very much appreciated!!!!!!!
