Please say a little prayer for our boy Tiny Bubbles. Evidently he was thrown away by someone I believe had contacted us in the past for help. We had told this person we would do all we could including getting him ready for surgery with the duck soup and caring for him after the surgery. We even offered to do a fund raiser to help cover the surgery. We believe it's the same fuzzy because he was found in the trailer park where this woman had said she lived and he even matches color and a cauliflower right ear. She never contacted us back and her number was disconnected. Thank God animal control found him wandering the trailer park but, he was thin and in poor physical condition. Anyway, he is at the Vets for surgery tonight and he has gained 18 ounces since we got him. There is life in his eyes and a real will to live. Please keep him in your thoughts tonight. Keith

I hate stories like this I can't imagine what would happen to my babies if they were left to roam on their own. You're such a blessing to the ferret world.

Tiny had a tough time of it. Before his surgery another local vet asked for two fuzzies to do sonogram training for his staff. We brought in Tiny and Wilson. The Vet said that Wilson was fine (as we expected) but, Tiny showed evidence of a left side adrenal tumor of medium size and the rest of his organs were clear. The surgeon found a left side tumor, a right side tumor and a tumor on his lower intestine. A professional sonogram instructor is the one that did Tiny and he never saw the right side tumor or the one on his lower intestine. This is one of the reasons we are against Vets demanding or talking clients into sonograms before they will even consider surgery. The average cost here is $400.00 to $600.00 so please, anyone that uses a Vet that requires a sonogram before adrenal surgery, consider changing Vets. The surgeon will be in there any way, so in our opinion, whats the point of spending money that can be used elsewhere? We are having to force feed Tiny and he is on Metro and Amoxy for three weeks. He seems like it will be a tough recovery so please keep him in your thoughts. Keith

Tiny is doing much better this evening. He finally went right for the duck soup and the shine in his eyes is back. He really had us worried. I will give him a little leg stretch tomorrow to see how he does. Keith

Tiny seems to be his old self again. As with all our worrisome fuzzies he is caged in our bedroom so we can keep a close eye on them. At about 3:30 this morning, Evelyn and I awoke to a strange noise. We looked at each other as if to confirm what we were hearing and sure enough. It was the familiar crunch of dry ferret kibble. We didn't disturb him but woke this morning to an almost empty bowl in Tiny's cage. He spent a good 20 minutes with me after breakfast searching the bedroom for something to get into before finding my PJ's and curling up for a nap. All sure signs he is on the mend. Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. Please keep Tiny in mind. Keith

Tiny-B is doing great. He has started to climb the stairs now, which he never did before the surgery. We have moved him back in with his buddy Charger and they are back to competing for who can eat the most Duck Soup. He goes in Saturday to have his stitches removed and then we have to concentrate on getting Baby (aka Popeye) ready for exploratory surgery as well as Princess for adrenal surgery. Keith

Tiny got his stitches out Sunday and to the Doc and our surprise he is starting to grow all his coat back. We didn't expect it with the right adrenal and his age but he is like a kit again. What a great fuzzy he is.
