On April 12, 2008 we will be having our annual fundraiser at the Ed Walls Building, on the Cecil County Fairgrounds, in Fair Hill, Maryland. The event will begin at 12 noon. We will have raffles, food, games, music, vendors, and a live auction that will begin at 3 p.m. Please contact Claudia Johnson (rescue director) at 443-350-7245 (barnyardtravellers@hotmail.com) or Dee Bickling (event coordinator) at dbickling@verizon.net for any questions you may have about the event. This is the main shelter fundraiser each year. The critters at the rescue need this event to be a huge success, so we hope to see everyone there, and bring a friend. Directions: From Balt area take I-95 north to exit 100 (the North East Exit), go left on rt 272 north several miles to the intersection of 272 and 273. Turn right on 273 north and go about 6 miles just past the intersection of 213 and 273. You will see signs and balloons directing you to the Ed Walls Building. Hey everyone!!! Just wanted to let you know I have added some incredible items this week and more to come tonight and tomorrow!!!! In case you have been wanting one of John (Stinkweasels) incredible Hidey boxes there is one in the Auction. I just added pictures!!! The little stuffed sable girl handmade by Sandy Sanguine is Incredible from what I hear!!! I also heard there is another ferret face quilt on it's way to add in the next few days!!! So take a few moments to look over the raffle and auction items and contact Dee for information on how some of these might be yours!!!

See tooo many things for me to remember all the additions lately! I forgot to add Krissy's Incredible Ball Bed!!!! My boys are saying MOM we MUST have the flame bed!!!! She also sent along one of her new AWESOME toy bags filled with some incredible items!!!!! Just today I picked up a candy basket FILLED with some wonderful sweet treats for those of you with a sweet tooth. Many more additions coming tonight and tomorrow!!!!

The box is there and Sanguine Ferret too. John your box is #88 in the live auction and Sanguine Baby Girl Ferret is number 87
Cant wait to see you there and yes you can just buy your raffle tickets when you get there.
C'mon yall this is supporting a shelter.
Take a look and I am sure there is something you need to bid on or buy raffle tickets for. LOL

Glad you found it!!! 1:00 raffle items are listed first, then 2:00 raffle items, lastly the Live auction items are listed. The first 59 ++++ letters auction items are not ferret specific. Then comes the fun (I mean) ferret stuff.

Diane's quilts are AMAZING!!!! I hope we hear from her soon! Last I had heard it was going to be in the mail no later than last Monday!!!
I just added some more items this morning and I have a few more I know for sure are on their way to add this weekend. So make sure you check back!!!!

LOVE the hidey-box - nice work John Oh and I have a tiny complaint about raffle prizes..... They all have ferret singular - that just doesn't fit my family!!! "I adopted my ferret" "I love my ferret"  I'll have to see if S's can be added on by hand  |

The box from John came today! Let's just say there will be lots of bids on it!!!!!!!!! Pictures do not do this justice!!! The hinges on it are very nice cabinet hinges and it is beyond top quality!!!! VERY heavy too!!!
